How to Play

Everything you need to know

1 The Draft

Players can draft their houseguests any time before Episode 2. The draft will close on Sunday, July 12th at 7:00 PM Eastern, one hour before Episode 2 airs. Players can change their drafted houseguests and team name any time before the draft closes. So don't worry if you draft a team before we meet the houseguests in Episode 1. You can draft placeholder houseguests in a league, then change your picks after Episode 1. Just make sure you're happy with your choices before July 12th at 7:00 PM Eastern!

2 Scoring

These points will be awarded by the Game Keeper (me) as I watch the episodes. This may not always be live; I try my best to communicate when to expect score updates following an episode.

3 Key Definitions

Unexpected Competitions

Any competition between 2 or more houseguests not part of the usual HoH, Veto, or Blockbuster schedule. This is an effort to factor in the season's twist, whatever it may be, and whatever else Julie has in store for us.

Picked for Veto

Houseguests chosen to play in Veto by another player, or picked by random draw. Does not include those nominated, or the HoH.

Taken off the Block by Someone Else

Does not include houseguests who take themselves off the block.

Resurrection

A player is resurrected if they are evicted, then reenter the game as a houseguest for any reason (wins a competition, voted back in, etc.). If there is a competition between evicted houseguests to reenter the house, the winner will NOT also receive points for an Unexpected Competition, because the competition was not between active houseguests.

4 Winning

The team with the most points after the Finale wins their league.

5 Custom Leagues

League admins can award bonus points within their own league for any reason they choose. Bonus points are visible to all league members in the Points Record. This is meant to accommodate those who want to add other scoring opportunities. For example, if your league wants to award points every time a houseguest cries on screen, your league admin can do that manually. All core game points are awarded by the Game Keeper.

6 League Size

Leagues will run with however many teams sign up before the draft closes.

7 Scoring Interpretation

The scoring system was created in an effort to keep things black and white, no gray area, no differing ways to interpret how things "should" be scored. If a situation emerges that is unclear on how to score it, the decision will be made by the Game Keeper and will be final. :)
